Tom Ford said of JT “I adore Justin. He has innate style and enormous talent. It has been such a pleasure and honor to work with him throughout this entire creative process.”
After a six-year hiatus, Justin Timberlake is making a comeback, and a stylish one, collaborating with Tom Ford for his upcoming album “The 20/20 Experience,” expected to be released this year. It is said that Ford and Timberlake worked closely together to create made-to-measure tailoring and accessories that will be featured on the album.
As Jay-Z stated in “Suit & Tie,” “This is truffle season, Tom Ford tuxedos for no reason.” Welcome back, Justin!
JT is back! After a six-year hiatus, Jutsin Timberlake has released a new single entitled “Suit & Tie,” featuring Jay-Z, and the video has just been released. It’s a smooth hit with, okay, a not-so-stellar verse from Jay-Z, but, that’s totally fine, right? In this black and white lyric video, Justin is looking very fine in suits by Tom Ford. (Jay-Z said it best, “This is truffle season, Tom Ford tuxedos for no reason.”) His upcoming album “The 20/20 Experience” will be out soon.

Yesterday, January 5, the 2013 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala took place in Palm Springs, CA, and some of the guests in attendance included Sally Fields, Diane Lane, and Ben Affleck. Look below to see what they, and others, wore to the gala that has been a prominent film festival for 24 years!
Diane Lane attended in a raspberry silk blend Dolce & Gabbana dress from the Fall 2012 collection. Gray pumps and a matching sparkly Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch completed her look. Diane honored her “Unfaithful” co-star Richard Gere (who looked dashing in a Giorgio Armani suit and black tie) with the Chairman’s Award.
Helen Hunt looked amazing in a navy halter floor-length Michael Kors maxi gown. She accessorized with a beaded Swarovski clutch, Rene Caovilla heels, earrings by London Manori, H. Stern rings, and a Charles Albert metal cuff.
Naomi Watts, who received the Desert Palm Achievement Award for Acting, wore a custom cap sleeve royal blue Roland Mouret belted gown with Louis Vuitton ‘Florida’ satin blue platform heels and gold Cartier jewelry.
“Lincoln” actress Sally Field dazzled on the red carpet in a black lace embroidered Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 dress, paired with Dolce & Gabanna jewely and black lace heels. She was awarded with the Career Achievement Award. Fabulous!
Bradley Cooper (who, by the way, is reported to be single again. Yes!… I mean, Nooooo!) wore his favorite designer, Tom Ford. He styled his classic wide peak lapel black three piece, 6-button vest suit with a white dress shirt, ‘butterfly’ bow tie, and black dress shoes. He’s such a hunk.
Dame Helen Mirren looked stunning in another look from Escada, this time in a red Fall 2012 gown with a deep square neckline and sheer sleeves. Stuart Weitzman heels, a gold Tory Burch ‘beaded square frame’ clutch, and David Webb jewels completed her look. Helen was honored with the International Award.
Ben Affleck looked handsome in a customized navy Gucci suit with trimming lined around the lapel and side pockets. A crisp white dress shirt, a ‘butterfly’ bow tie, and polished black lace shoes finished his look. He accepted the Ensemble Performance Award for his film “Argo.”
Everyone looked great. I think Helen Mirren stole the show in her Escada gown, her second from the brand this week. Who dazzled for you at this gala?
There were many great red carpet moments this year, but for me, Gwyneth Paltrow took the cake when she wore this amazing Tom Ford Fall 2012 cape dress at the Oscars. Do you agree with my choice?
