Who: Kanye West
Where: Performing last night for the first of three shows at the Revel Ovation Hall in Atlantic City.
Wearing: All white, with a Maison Martin Margiela crystal face mask from the Fall 2012 collection and $95 Nike Air Force One sneakers.
Why I Love It: It’s cool, it’s crazy, it’s completely Kanye.
Males and females alike believe that once someone reaches a certain age and stature, sneakers should be out of the picture. However, when taking into consideration someone’s career and background, even the man, himself, I believes sneakers can be appropriate. Jay-Z, Father, rap genius, and successful businessman, is a man that has sneakers as a major part of his shoe collection. Seen leaving the south of France, Hov was wearing a $375 Givenchy Apache Star Print T-Shirt, camouflage printed pants from 10 Deep (I think), and a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers. He accessorized with $280 Persol 649 sunglasses. What I really like about Hov’s ensemble is that his pants fit him properly (not baggy), and though casual, still very put-together. What are your thoughts on the whole sneaker thing, and Jay-Z’s outfit?
Amare Stoidemire not only shines on the court, but he’s also gaining some buzz in the fashion world. He was seen here at the Givenchy Spring 2013 Menswear show in a black tuxedo, paired with a $475 Givenchy Apache Print T-Shirt (from the Fall 2012 collection), and $245 Nike Air Yeezy 2 solar red sneakers. This is a great example of mixing casual with upscale. Wearing sneakers with dressier items isn’t always easy to pull-off, but Amare does it well. What do you think of his look?

While catching a flight out of LAX Airport, Kim Kardashian traded in her typically feminine ensembles for something more laid back. She wore a black leather jacket from Valentino, a simple black tee, black snug leather pants by either J Brand or Balenciaga, and a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers (yes, I’m hating on her for having them) A cute high bun, and a black Celine tote completed the social starlet’s look. Her outfit isn’t totally different, it’s is a far cry from the typical sweats and hoodie combo one might wear to the airport. And it may be too warm to wear for an everyday look now, but I think this would be great during the colder months (just trade in the sneakers for a pair of pumps, and the tee for a dressier top for a night out!) What do you think or her look?
