Who: Actress Eva Mendes
Where: In Calabasas, Cailfornia
Wearing: An oversized striped button-down blouse, boyfriend jeans, brown wedge ankle booties, large sunglasses, and a Fendi bag.
Why I Love It: This is a relaxed look made cool thanks to her oversized sunglasses and her chic messenger bag. Boyfriend jeans are still a denim staple, and this is a great way to where them during your next casual outing.
Yesterday at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, the 2012 AFI (American Film Institute) Fest took place, and both Eva Mendes and Kristen Stewart looked amazing for the screening of their films “On The Road” for Kristen and “Holy Motors” for Eva.
Eva looked sweet and sultry in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress with a Sergio Rossi clutch, black pumps, and David Webb Jade jewelry.
Kristen bared her midriff in a sexy Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiére ensemble from the Spring 2013 collection and Christian Louboutin ‘Decollete’ pumps.
What do you think of Eva and Kristen’s red carpet looks?
Opulence and embellishments are a huge hit for the Fall season, and the brand that showcased it the most was Dolce & Gabbana in the Fall 2012 collection. At the Toronto International Film Festival for her and Ryan Gosling’s film “Place Beyond The Pines,” Eva looked absolutely gorgeous in a pale gray, long-sleeved lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2012 collection. She paired the dress with black Casadei pumps, a black Prada turban, and a black clutch. With such a busy dress, I appreciate the simpleness of her accessories, and her makeup is absolutely flawless. What do you think of Eva’s red carpet look?
I couldn’t decide which ensemble I loved the most, so I picked both! Eva Mendes, the ultimate retro bombshell showcased her perfect ladylike style on two separate occasions:
Eva is spotted here in Beverly Hills wearing a bold $545 blue and yellow shirt-dress by Thakoon Addition paired with yellow sandals and a $2,950 Ralph Lauren bag.
And here, Eva was spotted taking her dog for a walk, wearing a midi skirt cinched at the waist, a white tee, the same Ralph Lauren bag as the one worn above, and Christian Louboutin espadrille wedge sandals. On both occasions, Eva completed her look with her signature retro cat-eye Thierry Lasry sunglasses.
If you’re like me and feel completely inspired by Eva’s amazing style, re-create her looks with ladylike silhouettes, retro accessories, and play up your curves by wearing belts cinched at the waist. Now, all we need are our own Ryan Goslings…
If there was an award for the best retro style, the winner would definitely go to Eva Mendes! She was spotted here leaving for the airport wearing a flirty green floral dress, her signature Christian Louboutin espadrille wedges and Thierry Lasry sunglasses, and carrying the Marc Jacobs ‘Antonia’ leather satchel. Without ever showing off too much skin, Eva manages to consistently style her curvier figure in Old Hollywood, nostalgic ensembles, such as this one.
Eva Mendes has such an easy style, and is the perfect example of a woman who isn’t afraid to show off her curves, but in a totally appropriate way. She was spotted here leaving a fabric store in a floral print blouse by ASOS, a high-waist denim skirt from Dolce & Gabbana, and beige wedge-sandals by Christian Louboutin. I love how the shirt is tied at her waist, adding a touch of effortlessness to her look, as well as her blue sunglasses! A perfect, summer daytime outfit. What do you think of Eva’s look?

For the sake of saying this is a fashion post, Eva Mendes is wearing a Boy. By Band of Outsiders Ribbed Striped Sweater. So… don’t you guys think they are so adorable together?! Yes, no, no one cares? Well then…
There were a lot of chic looks this week, so I decided to post them all together. Let’s get started with:
Eva Mendes looked completely elegant and ladylike in a Jonathan Saunders long-sleeve printed dress from the Fall 2012 collection paired with nude pumps. I am also digging her sunglasses!
Next up is Jessica Alba, who’s street style I always enjoy. She looked safari chic while out in NYC in a fedora, an elbow-patch sweater, rolled trousers, a scarf (her usual!), nude leather wedges, and a $1,225 Proenza Schouler PS1 Small Lux Satchel. A perfect example of layering!
another girl crush, Zoe Saldana at the Cosmopolitan for Latinas Launch Party in NYC! She looked completely sweet in an Elie Saab Couture dress, Brian Atwood Claudia Bis Pumps, a $1,100 Bottega Veneta Ayers Knot Clutch, and Irit Design earrings.
Who wore your favorite look? I happen to love them all. What are your thoughts?
