A Note To My Followers: Broke With Expensive Taste

So I know this is a fashion-based blog, but I need somewhere to vent, right?

I’ll start with a question. Do you guys thinks it’s hypocritical to blog about something that you personally can’t contribute to? For instance, consider me. I blog about the latest trends, magazine covers and editorials, runway and collection, etc, etc. However, I cannot tell you the last time that I actually went shopping, purchased a magazine of any kind, or attended a fashion show. I’m THAT short on cash! I can’t help about the fashion shows because the city that I live in isn’t all that fashion forward. I honestly can’t help any of those things, due to personal circumstances. But I just feel like putting my blogging on hold until I can actually live up to what I’m talking about. I feel as if I’m talking the talk, but am I walking the walk? On the other hand, I’ve seen so many blogs where the person has great style (or has the money to purchase high-end items), but the blog lacks quality, true content, and substance. I’m torn. I’m broke. I’m a loser. Well, maybe not a loser, but, I don’t feel 100 percent confident in myself either. Unless my circumstances change, I will be moving out of my apartment, back to my Mother’s house, and I’ll probably feel even more low on myself. (That has nothing to do with my blog, and I LOVE/appreciate my Mommy very much, but that’s still a bummer for my self-esteem) But, blogging is my passion. It’s more than “just something to kill time,” (since I have PLENTY of it.) So, I guess my next question, my dear readers, is, will you continue to bare (bear?) with me? Continue to read? Not care that “hey, this chick never posts any photos of her personal style,”? With determination, time, and yes, faith, my FAD will continue to grow, broke or not!

Okay… venting over. *plays Katy Perry “Fireworks” and 2 Chainz “Riot” loudly… while fist-pumping*
